“An intergenerational and friendly event. » This is the turn we want to give Christel Lesagepresident of Revel Bastide Commerciale (RBC), at a new event entitled Revel has incredible talent.

Organized by the traders' association, this competition, inspired by the show broadcast on M6, will take place on Sunday December 8 in the afternooni, under the town's belfry.

Around fifteen services

From 2:30 p.m., the public will be able to enjoy, free of charge, the 18 services scheduled following a call for applications launched a month and a half ago. Musique, danse, magic et comedy show will for example be there.

And to add to the stakes, RBC has planned the delivery of three prizesall ensuring a €150 gift certificate to spend in member businesses. The first will be awarded by a jury of elected officials from the municipality. Another, composed of RBC members, will award the second. Finally, a public prize will be awarded following a vote.

A DJ will entertain in the afternoon. The association would also like to be able to offer food stands. It is in the process of approaching its members to try to implement this project which remains to be confirmed for the moment.

Bringing the city and its businesses to life

Through this event, RBC wants bringing downtown Revel to life. “This is something that has always been the case in the past so we want to perpetuate the tradition,” explains its president. Before adding: “In a complicated year for businesses, we also want to be able to create an animation that brings in the public and who can bring stores to life. »

This competition is not the only initiative by Revelois merchants to liven up their city during this end-of-year period. Indeed, the association also organizes the Showcase Game : participants must guess the price of a storefront made up of items offered by partners. This fair price will be open during the entire month of December. The one closest to the exact amount will win the whole thing.

Finally, competition on the association's social networks will participate in punctuating the daily life of the town for the holidays.
