If we already had a nice surprise this Friday, the other matches of the 8th round of the French Cup today saw the logic being respected, even if it was a little too much for the favorites. Bastia, Metz, Dijon and Amiens will be there for the 32nd finals.
Nancy, leader of the National, shot itself in the foot in Bastia with an exclusion (Bokangu) and a penalty goal (signed Boutrah) even before the 10th minute of play. The islanders waited until the end of the match to make the break thanks to the 2nd goal of the evening from the former little prince of Concarneau.
Raon L'Etape (N3) did well against Metz, only losing 1-0 on a goal from Deminguet in the first period. Good resistance also for Chambéry (N3) against Dijon (N1) and Calais Beau Marais (R1) against Amiens (L2) who both held out for one half before giving in after returning from the locker room.
Omar Daf's Picards finally won 3-0 thanks to goals from Mafouta, Dao and Lutin. The DFCO won 2-0 thanks to goals from Djae and Ben Fredj.
The 8th round of the Coupe de France will continue this Saturday and will be followed on the Football Amateur media.
