The two Morbihan pig farms, located in Trédion and Malansac, denounced by L214 were placed in compulsory liquidation at the beginning of November 2024. Videos showing numerous dead pigs and piglets were revealed by the association last March, leading to the suspension of these farms, belonging to the same breeder, by the prefecture.

Pigs placed this summer

In practice, the animals remained there until summer, until the last piglets were born and then placed. There are no more pigs, but there are still phytosanitary products and rendering bins to disinfect indicates Morgane Rétho, mayor of Malansac (Morbihan). The elected official alerted the prefecture and hopes that what is necessary will be done for the well-being of local residents.

As for the breeder, he remains the subject of an investigation opened by the public prosecutor.
