Alternative rock music has its HQ! The Supersonic is the address that exchanges passionate about rock music of all kinds for a little over ten years! Opened in 2016 in Bastille, this bar, concert hall and club each week dispenses its share of live (free)themed evenings to dance until the early hours, tributes and aftershows! New wave, pop, psychedelic rock or post-rockthere is something for all chapels in this most electric place and essential to replenish your stock of new sounds!
Supersonic's Block Party, an explosive and groundbreaking program
Very active actor in the indie rock scene and always on the lookout for new faces to program, new genres to explore, the Supersonic could not be satisfied with his concerts and evenings ! This is how his homemade festival, Supersonic's Block Party, was born in 2023! Inspired by Anglo-Saxon events like SXSW in Austin or MaMA in Paris, where you go from room to room in a neighborhood, Supersonic's Block Party will take over the Bastille and its surroundings for the 3rd time!
For its next edition, the festival is even moving up a gear by settling in around ten rooms in the neighborhood which will be revealed in 2025! Warning of tremors, from May 29 to 31, 120 concerts will take place in just three days!
Notice to bulimics, to those thirsty for emerging music, Supersonic's Block Party has in store for you a most enticing program with artists from all walks of life. The poster is far from finished but the first names revealed give a good overview of what awaits you next spring! Of shoegaze at Lemondaze, a dose of new wave at Jacuzi, from sensual pop on the side of Sorry Girls, punk thanks to Bongloard or garage rock with Wasted Youth Club… No headliners, just artists unearthed with guts and who could well be the sensations of tomorrow!
