If the NBA is desperately looking for a way to relaunch the All-Star Game, the Great League is setting up a new week of festivities, at the heart of its regular season… in the French capital.
This year, we know that there will be two matches in Paris, on January 23 and 25 at the Accor Arena, between the Pacers of Tyrese Haliburton and les Spurs by Victor Wembanyama. But the NBA is also taking over Bercy on January 24, with the organization of a celebrity gala which promises “to combine the NBA, music, fashion and entertainment through a series of basketball games and competitions” notably featuring “Jalen Rose and Joakim Noah, celebrities, athletes and influencers who will be trained by French racing driver Esteban Ocon and French judo icon Teddy Riner. »
Hosted by Bastien Fontanieu and Alexandre Martin, from TrashTalk, this “NBA Paris Jam” will include “DJ sets, gifts for fans, and a musical performance” of the singer Dadju.
What to expect? Probably not a classic “Celebrity Game” since it will obviously mainly be an evening of entertainment with different challenges and competitions.
As for the places, they are intended primarily for Revolut customers in Europe, which sponsors the event. New customers of the banking application will have access to a pre-sale of tickets on Friday, December 13, at 12:00 p.m. The remaining tickets will then go on sale to the public on Monday, December 16, at 12:00 p.m., on: NBA.com/Paris. The “NBA Paris Jam” will be broadcast on the NBA’s Twitch and YouTube channels, and fans present or watching online “will have the opportunity to vote for their MVP, change the rules of the game and more”…
