Bedross Baronianalmost 80 years old, has a smile on his face! He participated for the tenth time in the race called La Sans Raison, Sunday November 24, 2024, starting from Vélizy-Villacoublay (Yvelines). Three courses were possible. The funds raised were donated to the Laurette Fugain Association, which fights against leukemia. This event was created by the ASC Vélizy football club.
“I won it”
This athlete is part of the club since 1980. He set off for his first La Sans Raison race in 2013. Sunday November 24, 2024, the octogenarian held its objective : win his tenth medal. “I won it,” he exclaims. This medal symbolizes my tenth participation, because in 2015, the event did not take place with the attacks, nor in 2020 with the Covid. »
“For my tenth participation in the La Sans Raison race, I was at the head of the peloton for the start. It was great. »
Bedross Baronian carried out the 11 km without getting hurt. “There was no rain. I didn't fall, as was the case one year. At my age, that's still something. I put 1 hour 54 minutes and 06 seconds,but I went to the end. I succeeded! I’m a finisher,” he confides with some aches.
