The PS is the first party to draw its name in the province of Luxembourg. Here are its top candidates for the provincial elections, which will be held on 13 October 2024, at the same time as the local elections.
In the Arlon district: Delphine Guelff (Aubange), 49 years old, educator and provincial councilor
In the Bastogne district: Malika Sonnet (Vaux-sur-Sûre), 43 years old, social worker and provincial councilor
In the Bouillon district: Willy Noizet (Bouillon), 50 years old, computer scientist and president of the Bouillon municipal council
In the Marche district: Stephan De Mul (Marche), 50 years old, provincial deputy
In the district of Neufchâteau: Olivier Weyrich (Neufchâteau), 53 years old, independent (éditions Weyrich)
In the Virton district: Nathalie Heyard (Musson), 51 years old, provincial deputy
Compared to the 2018 elections, there are therefore three changes:
– Delphine Guelff replaces Nicolas Beaumont in the Arlon district, the latter has moved to the commune of Vaux-sur-Sûre
– In the Bouillon district, Willy Noizet replaces Paliseulois Claudy Thomassint, who was elected in 2018 and appointed provincial deputy but quickly resigned.
– In the Neufchâteau district, Francis Steifer, after several years of good and loyal service, had announced that he wanted to pass on the torch. It is Olivier Weyrich, candidate in the last European elections, who will therefore take over.
