“I had never thought about coming back here. Despite my regular exchanges with Matthieu (Bodmer), it was an idea that had not really crossed my mind. I was not ready for it. I was in the process of getting my diploma and the club was progressing very well without me. Then Matthieu called me. I was really surprised. And then, everything became clear in my head. I took a minute to think. I know that I am arriving in a healthy environment with people who work hard.” Finally, Digard also shared his philosophy and the values ​​that he wants to instill in the Normandy team. “I like teams that play, that press, with a lot of intensity. I prefer to win 5-4 rather than 1-0. The only certainty I can offer today is the state of mind. Being a coach is sometimes playing the role of father, of teacher. But above all, I try to be fair. Close and demanding at the same time, knowing that each player needs a different approach. There will be a general guideline and we will adapt.” A new era begins for the Ciel et Marine.
