The mayor of this commune in Orne accuses the Cdc of wanting to settle scores

During the last meeting of the municipal council, chaired by Fabrice Gloria, mayor, a long debate took place concerning the participation of the municipality of Moulins-la-Marche (Orne) in the operation of the L'Aigle cinema (Orne) .

“We are under pressure”

In June 2019, the municipal council debated the project to create the cultural complex in L'Aigle and refused to pay 7 euros per inhabitant.

Today, we are facing pressure from the vice-presidents of the Cdc of Pays de L'Aigle who are conditioning the vote on the extension of the health center, with the creation of an office for the third general practitioner, at the participation of the municipality in the financing of cinema.

Fabrice Gloria deplores this method which puts the commune of Moulins-la-Marche up against the wall. “We have no choice but to participate. At a time when all territories are fighting to accommodate general practitioners, for the Cdc of Pays de L'Aigle to take the risk of losing a doctor to settle scores with a municipality, seems totally out of place. In any case, the municipality does not wish to take such a risk for the inhabitants of the area.”

No retroactive effect

The municipal council decides, unanimously, to contribute up to €7 per inhabitant per year, from 1^is January 2025without retroactive effect, to the financing of the L'Aigle cultural complex.

Drinking water. By the deliberation of September 25, 2024, the SMAEP committee of the Moulins la Marche Region requested membership in the SMAEP of the Gâprée ​​Region. By deliberation of September 30, 2024, the Union Committee of the SMAEP of the Gâprée ​​Region accepted the membership application of the SMAEP of the Moulins la Marche Region and its terms. It is proposed to the municipal council to deliberate on the request for membership of the SMAEP of the Gâprée ​​Region and transfer all of its powers to it, which the council approves.

Reversal of horse racing bets. As in past years, it is proposed to return the sums collected from horse racing to the Racing Societybecause they are linked to the activity of the racecourse. For the year 2023, the payment amounts to €2,736.77.

Selling weed. The registered plots ZK23 and AB 330 and 332 are grasslands owned by the commune of Moulins-la-Marche. These lands are municipal land reserves. The GAEC of Cour d'Evêque made us a proposal to purchase weed. The amount proposed is €220, identical to that of previous years.

Divers. The mayor received a message from the company Me Group, which carried the project ofinstallation of a laundromat in the commune. The company reconsiders its position and considers that the project is not profitable due to the proximity of an installation similar to Courtomer et Sainte-Gauburge. Fabrice Gloria will contact the sales representative of this company to have more precise information and try to change this decision.
