At the end of the morning, the eastern slopes and the interior become covered. At the start of the afternoon, cloudiness also sets in over the heights of the North and North-West. We expect, at most, 32°C from L'Étang-Salé to Saint-Pierre.
The weather is nice this Tuesday morning. The first clouds approach the department from the eastern coast. They settle inside before noon.
This afternoon, “under a mostly cloudy sky, light showers occur on the terrain in the second part of the day, only the southern coastal fringe, helped by the wind, manages to maintain some clearing”specifies Météo-France La Réunion.
The trade wind flow remains moderate. Gusts of 50 to 60 km/h sweep from the wild South to Saint-Pierre. They reach 40 to 50 km/h from Champ-Borne to Saint-Denis.
Maximum temperatures on the coast oscillate between 28 and 32°C, inland they will be 25 to 28 in the cirques, 20 at Pas de Bellecombe-Jacob and 18°C at Maïdo.
The sea is not very rough. The temperature of the Indian Ocean near the Mascarenes is 25 to 26°C.
