On Saturday, July 6, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., an introductory workshop on foot reflexology, led by a pediatric nurse, will take place at the Roulandou Community Center from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. For participants, this is an opportunity to familiarize themselves with protocols that are easy to repeat at home to soothe their child’s aches and pains.
Foot reflexology considers that pressure applied to certain points of the foot can influence certain organs and parts of the body. In practice, the stimulation of these points can have a positive impact on the overall health of the person. Thanks to this practice, it is possible to relieve stress, improve sleep, and alleviate pain.
The goal of this discipline is not to treat or diagnose specific medical conditions, but rather to stimulate the person’s natural self-healing ability to contribute to their overall well-being.
