The territory of Saint-Brieuc is now divided into three blocks: the coast and the urban periphery, which preferred the candidacy of Mickaël Cosson (Ensemble-MoDem), the city centre which largely supported Marion Gorgiard (New Popular Front) and the small rural communes of the south, which placed Françoise Billaud, from the National Rally, in the lead in the first round of the legislative elections.

The second round of the legislative elections will not be decided by two but by three finalist candidates, in the constituency of Saint-Brieuc (Côtes-d’Armor). Mickaël Cosson (Ensemble-MoDem), Marion Gorgiard (New Popular Front) and Françoise Billaud (National Rally) will therefore be the winners on Sunday, July 7, 2024.

Regarding the vote by municipality in this first round, it divides the constituency into three blocks.

The coast and the urbanized periphery prefer the presidential majority

The moderate figure of Mickaël Cosson (he is a member of the MoDem and has received the support of the presidential majority) is favourable to him in the most populated and wealthy communes in the sector.
