Moïra André stood out during the traditional general knowledge test, organized in Abidjan, ahead of the Miss 2025 election. Of the 25 candidates in the running, Miss Guadeloupe 2024 won second place. A performance that bodes well for the future, which notably recalls the career of a woman named Clémence Botino, who shone during this event.

Once again, a Miss Guadeloupe makes a strong impression, even before her participation in the election of the most beautiful woman in France. “Moïra André distinguished herself, during the preparation stay for Miss France 2025, in Ivory Coast, by winning second place in the prestigious general knowledge test of the competition“, rejoices Marvyn Vala of the Miss Guadeloupe Organization committee.
This is an emblematic, highly anticipated stage of the competition.

The top 3 of the test is thus composed :
???? Marina Przadka, Miss Picardie (15.5/10)
???? Moïre André, Miss Guadeloupe (13.5/20)
???? Romane Agostinho, Miss Auvergne (12.5/20).

It turns out that the representatives of the archipelago often shine, both for their physical attractions and for their full heads.

Clémence Botino, Miss Guadeloupe 2019, won this same prize, before being crowned Miss France 2020. Enough to fuel all the hopes of winning a fifth national crown for Guadeloupe.

Clémence, who had obtained her Baccalaureate with the distinction “Alright“, had obtained 17.5/20, the best score in the general knowledge test, during preparations for the 2020 competition in Polynesia.

It is therefore already a great success for the current beauty queen of Guadeloupe, elected last September 15 locally.

For the future, the native of the commune of Terre-de-Bas intends to follow in the footsteps of her predecessors, Indira Ampiot (Miss Guadeloupe 2022), Clémence Botino (Miss Guadeloupe 2019), Corinne Coman (Miss Guadeloupe 2002) and Véronique de la Cruz (Miss Guadeloupe 1992), all four elected Miss France respectively in 2023, 2020, 2003 and 1993.

Moïra André, who achieved a remarkable performance, will in turn face her destiny, with her dream within reach of the podium. The big meeting is announced for next Saturday, December 14, at Futuroscope, near (Vienna). This will be the 95th edition of the election.

Already, it offers great visibility, “precious to the ambassador of the islands of Guadeloupe“and who”augurs great prospects for the continuation of this adventure which she leads with determination“, adds Marvyn Vala.

It is true that the French press is widely relaying the results of the test, this Monday, November 25, 2024, a few weeks before the grand final of the national competition.
