Fifteen days after the PLR, it is the turn of the PS of Sainte-Croix to officially announce that it is running for union membership. The seat left vacant on December 31 by the socialist Cédric Roten is thus coveted by Sylvain Fasola, who joins Rachel Gueissaz in the rank of contenders. UDC Yvan Pahud, current vice-syndic, also announced that he was interested in the position.
Elected in 2019, re-elected in 2021, Sylvain Fasola is head of the Schools and Social Affairs department. A native of L'Auberson, the current president of FC Sainte-Croix/La Sagne announces that he wants to maintain collegiality, promote the local economy, promote a policy for the future and preserve the environment.
