From Brussels to Los Angeles via Doha, Le Figaro examined the results in the world’s major cities.

The first round of the legislative elections delivered its verdict: with more than 33% of the votes, the National Rally and its allies signed a historic performance. According to our projections, Jordan Bardella’s party should obtain between 240 and 270 deputies. Followed by the New Popular Front (27.99%) and Ensemble! (20.04%). 76 deputies were elected in the first round and with more than 300 triangulars planned (before the submission of the final lists and possible withdrawals) the second round promises to be exciting.

50 million French people were called to the polls on Sunday, June 30, including voters based abroad. How did the expatriates, estimated at more than two million, vote? Le Figaro examined the results in the world’s major cities.

Brussels on the left, London in the center

HAS Londonwhich has nearly 225,000 French inhabitants, it is the candidate of the outgoing presidential majority, Vincent Caure, who comes out on top. With 42.68% of the votes, he is ahead of Charlotte Minvielle (35.51%), from the New Popular Front. The positions are reversed at Dublin, Helsinki, Reykjavik or Oslo. Across the constituency, the first round is very close, with the two candidates holding on to 39%.

On the side of Bruxelles, it is the candidate of the left union, Cécilia Gondard, who comes first (41.89%) ahead of the Macronist candidate Pieyre-Alexandre Anglade (32.25%). Same as Amsterdam. On the other hand, the positions are reversed Luxembourg.

HAS Monaco – 5th constituency -, it is the RN candidate, Johana Maurel, who comes out on top (46.04%) while in the whole area the majority voted for the Renaissance candidate Stéphane Vojetta and that of the New Popular Front Maxime Da Silva. Johana Maurel is eliminated.

In the 7th district, whether in Berlin, Vienna or Budapestthe candidate of the left union Asma Rhamaoui-Claquin.

The RN in the lead in Moscow

HAS Florence, Naples et Romethree Italian cities, it is the candidate of the New Popular Front Yaël Lerer who is ahead, in particular, of Meyer Habib (LR)… who takes his revenge in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem et Haifa. In the 8th constituency as a whole, the LR candidate is ahead of Ensemble (Caroline Yadan). Yaël Lerer is eliminated.

While the war in Ukraine continues and was at the heart of the legislative campaign, it is the candidate of the outgoing majority, Anne Genetet, who comes out on top with 53.16%. Kiev. HAS Moscow et Saint PETERSBOURG, RN Pierre Brochet is well in the lead (40%) ahead of the controversial François Asselineau (17.93%). Across the entire constituency – which also includes Australia and Asia – it is the Ensemble candidate (Anne Genetet) who is qualified alongside Franck Pajot (NFP).

Dubai for Macronie, Doha for the socialists

In the Maghreb, full success for the New Popular Front: Alger, Marrakech, Oran, Rabat, Tanger et TunisKarim Ben Cheikh is well ahead, flirting with 65% of the votes.

Paradise for influencers, Dubai brought the candidate of Ensemble, Amélia Lakrafi (41.34%) to the head ahead of Elsa Di Meo (NFP). Reversed position at Doha.

Yes to The Angels, Roland Lescure came well ahead (44.61%), his competitor from the New Popular Front, Oussama Laraichi, still obtained nearly 26% of the votes in the City of Angels. In the American capital, Washington, its score even rises to 30%. To Québec, Osama Laraichi takes the lead with more than 41% of the votes. In this first constituency for French people living abroad, Roland Lescure obtained 38.8%. He is followed by the candidate of the New Popular Front (36.12%).
