After more than an hour of discussions with the Prime Minister, the leader of the RN deputies maintained the pressure on the government.

A 1h15 meeting so that ultimately nothing changes. At the end of her interview this Monday morning with Prime Minister Michel Barnier, at the Matignon hotel, Marine Le Pen laconically launched: “I repeated to the Prime Minister for the umpteenth time the red lines that are ours”. These same red lines which will push, or not, Marine Le Pen to decide to censor the government, if ever Matignon decides to use article 49.3 to have the budget adopted in the National Assembly. In his viewfinder, in particular, “the increase in taxes on electricity” judged «inadmissible».

According to the leader of the National Rally (RN) deputies, her group would vote to censure the government if the budget remains “as is”. “My position has not changed. No more, it seems, than that of the Prime Minister has evolved.she assured, while specifying that Michel Barnier is “appeared stuck on its positions”.

Is Marine Le Pen preparing people for a fall of the government? The RN deputy for Pas-de- in any case minimized the consequences of rejecting the budget. She says she refuses to give in “to the little music consisting of saying if this budget is ever refused, if there is censorship, it will be dramatic, it will be chaos, etc.”. And to affirm: “It is last year’s budget that will apply. It is rather less bad than this one since there are fewer taxes that will weigh on the working classes and the middle classes”.
