Saturday November 30, at 7 p.m., the town of Villefranche-de-Lauragais will kick off the many events that will be scheduled in the town on the occasion of the end of year celebrations.
And what better symbol for this than the lighting of the big fir tree on Place Gambetta which will sparkle with a thousand lights throughout this period marked by the magic of Christmas.

The Christmas village is still growing
Let us emphasize that throughout this end-of-year holiday period, a small Christmas village will be set up on Place Gambetta. A mailbox awaits children there so that they can drop off their letters and gift lists which the little elves of the town will then be happy to send to Santa Claus.
Huit food trucks offering world cuisine (burgers, Portuguese specialties, etc.) will also be present alternately every weekend, at lunchtime and in the evening as well as on Friday December 6 in the evening, before the Omar Hasan concert.
And merry-go-roundand churro stand et three chalets welcoming a artisanal soap factoryand oyster merchant and a sales area for delicacies and hot drinks held, again alternately, by several city associations, will also be open every weekend.
