For a year, the Toulouse association “Des Etoiles et des Ailes” has been preparing its fifth air show. After four editions in Toulouse Francazal, it will take place at the Sud de France airport in Carcassonne, on September 21 and 22. More than 40,000 spectators are expected for two days of aerial magic. Legendary planes, gliders or helicopters, legendary patrols, electric planes of the future, there will be something for everyone, for ten hours, every day. Around fifty crews have already confirmed their arrival: world aerobatics champions, commercial planes (surprising to see loops of an ATR or an Airbus), historic planes, such as the Lookheed Electra. There are nine left in the world and only one in Europe. The public will be able to admire the spectacular arabesques of several patrols including the Patrouille de France. Many free activities are planned. Including six pilot simulator stands (including the legendary Concorde), four exhibitions and 28 exhibitor stands.

The meeting team also organizes “L’avion des Métiers”, a training, employment and integration forum, with an aeronautical stamp (more than 60,000 jobs in the region).
