After the calm and mildness that reigns this weekend, more wintery weather will be observed from Monday, November 25. Rainfall, strong winds and a significant drop in the mercury are expected over the next week.
Rainy weather will dominate much of the country on Monday. In detail, the entire area extending from the southwest to the north and northeast will be under showers. In some places they could be particularly important. Concerning the wind, gusts could reach 60 km/h on the Mediterranean coast. Despite the bad weather, the softness will always be there.
During the day, 11 to 20 degrees are expected. The maximum values should be observed in the extreme south of France. On Tuesday, a few showers will be possible in the south-east and north-west of France. Elsewhere, calm and dry weather will prevail. As for the wind too, the intensity will be significantly less than during the previous days.
On the mercury side, 9 to 17 degrees are expected during the day. The minimums are expected in the east, while the maximums should be recorded in the south and in the Isle of Beauty. On Wednesday, a new disruption will hit the country. Initially, it is the northwest quarter which should find itself in the rain. Gradually, this depression will then sink into the interior of the country. Moreover, rainfall is expected to increase in the evening.
Colder weather will set in from Thursday
As for temperatures, the trend will always be mild with values which should be between 9 and 17 degrees according to Météo France. On Thursday, a clear drop in mercury should be observed in the north of France. During the day, values should not exceed the threshold of 10 degrees. In the northeast, temperatures will even be below five degrees.
In terms of weather, sustained rain is expected in the north-east and south-east of France. Elsewhere, calm and dry weather should prevail. On Friday, the weather will be fine throughout the country. In the morning, a few frosts should be observed. On the mercury side, the thermometer could drop below 0 degrees in the east. In the afternoon, temperatures will increase.
In a large northern half, the values will not exceed the threshold of 10 degrees. The minimums should be 5 degrees in Lille in the far north of France. As for next weekend, the weather will be mild, it will be sunny and cold, particularly in the morning when frost should be observed in certain regions.
