Exo must interrupt its train service between Saint-Jérôme, Mirabel, Blainville and Sainte-Thèrèse for work to be carried out from July 2 to 12. The agency must redo a level crossing and three railway culverts which show signs of advanced deterioration. The level crossing is that of Route 158 in Saint-Jérôme, while the culverts are located in Mirabel and at the Blainville station.

In addition, the agency has just announced the commissioning of 44 brand new cars that people in the region will see briefly before the service interruption, and which will then return during the summer of 2024. The new cars have been in preparation for several months. The date of their commissioning is not linked to the work on the railway.

Shuttles during the week to get to the train

During the week only, commuter train users will be invited to use specially provided bus shuttles. The Saint-Jérôme, Mirabel and Blainville stations will be served by these shuttles.

Four shuttle services will connect to Sainte-Thérèse station where customers can transfer to the train. Customers should plan to arrive 20 minutes before the current train departures. Line 974 will offer an express service between the Saint-Jérôme and Sainte-Thérèse stations via Highway 15. Line 973 will serve the Mirabel and Sainte-Thérèse stations via Highway 15. Line 972 will serve the Blainville and Sainte-Thérèse stations via boulevard de la Seigneurie and route 117. Finally, for transport between intermediate stations, the ligne 971 will serve Mirabel, Blainville and Sainte-Thérèse stations via route 117. Exo has not planned service between Mirabel and Saint-Jérôme stations.
