Hager Jacquemin (National Rally): “I thank the inhabitants of the 4e constituency to have voted en masse. But be careful, if we do not repeat the same mobilization in the second round, we will not have an absolute majority in the National Assembly.

This is important to allow Jordan Bardella to become prime minister and allow him to implement the RN program. I don’t consider myself far right, we are patriots who want to save France. The French want more purchasing power, more security and less immigration. »

“We’re going to have to wet our swimsuit”

Nicolas Turquois (Ensemble) : “This whole episode is quite violent. For my parents to go (to the office), it’s because they are worried about their son. I get around 15,000 votes and the RN, 20,000 (19.268). I am ahead in Châtellerault by 150 votes.

I think my re-election is possible, the Republican withdrawal will not be automatic. Perhaps by rejection of the President of the Republic. There will perhaps be a little more abstention next Sunday. There would have to be a little more than half of Mr. Trousselle’s voters who would turn to me. The RN electorate is very mobilized.

Tonight is a positive step but we’re really going to have to get our jerseys wet. I will see if I am re-elected but what the French are asking us is to change the way we work. »

Yves Trousselle (New Popular Front): “It’s a consecration for the RN. With participation rising sharply, this is extremely disappointing. We are going to replay an RN-Macron match again in the second round.

It goes without saying that I am withdrawing. There is no question of playing with fire. I call to vote against the RN, in other words, and unequivocally, to vote for Nicolas Turquois. He must have a maximum of votes to block the National Rally.

At the level of the New Popular Front, I felt a movement being created. The left is gaining votes compared to previous elections, we must continue and above all remain united. I have a good score on Châtellerault and am far behind in the countryside, particularly in the Loudun sector, as I expected.

JI have only been in politics for four years. I feel my legitimacy in rallying all the parties. I will continue and prepare other deadlines. Which ones? I will think about it but the presidency of the agglomeration in 2026 could be a goal. »

Stand Up France Calls for Voting RN

Patrick Minot (Centrist Alliance): “The RN’s push finds its origins in security and economic fear. I ask my voters to vote what they want in the second round, with their hearts. But above all we must avoid the extreme left and the New Popular Front. »

Sabine Bortolotti (Stand Up France): “This is the expected result. For the second round, Nicolas Dupont-Aignan’s party is calling for a vote for national unity, in other words for the National Rally. I’m doing a little better than in the 2022 legislative elections in the third constituency, I wasn’t expecting more. »

Patrice Villeret (Workers’ struggle): “There is a surge from the extreme right, from the reactionary current. We are going to have an anti-worker government that will tighten the screws on workers even more. We are going to sink even deeper into the crisis. »
