The Nevers vote divided for these legislative elections: RN, Ensemble and the New Popular Front neck and neck

In Nevers, the large victory of the RN list in the European elections (27.96%) was unprecedented. It was repeated in the first round of the legislative elections, but by a few votes ahead of the outgoing MP Perrine Goulet and the candidate of the left union.

Like Jordan Bardella in the Europeans, Charles-Henri Gallois, the candidate nominated by the National Rally, took the best this Sunday in Nevers with 30.54% (3,741 votes) ahead of outgoing MP Perrine Goulet (30.38% and 3,721 votes). ) followed by the New Popular Front candidate Brice Larèpe (30.14% and 3,691 votes).

A close result, much closer than at the constituency level where the RN clearly stood out. And unlike the European elections where Jordan Bardella’s party won in all the polling stations, with the exception of the Lucette-Sallé school, the three candidates shared the polling stations. The RN won in its “strongholds” of Bords-de-Loire (41.89%), Mouësse, and Courlis: 40.98% at the Claude-Tillier school, 39.51% at the Lucie-Aubrac school.

Our live coverage of election night in Nièvre

Perrine Goulet takes the upper hand in the third and fourth offices of the ducal palace, at the Oratory, at Lucette-Sallé (43.57%), at the Rotonde (38.37%) and even at the Château des Loges.
The union candidate of the left passes in front in the first two offices of the ducal palace, at the Guynemer school, la Barre, Jules-Ferry and especially at the Stéphane-Hessel space, at the Grande Pâture (36.68% in office 24 and 51% in office 25).

The high participation also benefits the RN

In total, with 59% participation compared to 45% for Europeans, almost 3,000 more voters turned out. The RN benefited from this, going from 2,678 to 3,741 votes; Perrine Goulet too, well beyond the score of the presidential majority in the Europeans: 3,721 votes against 1,486.

Two progressions which in fact roughly correspond to the number of additional voters this Sunday in Nevers.
