It’s a return that will get people talking. This Friday, November 22, 2024, the Antoine theater located in the 10th arrondissement of Paris announced thatEdward Baer was going to be able to return to the stage, six months after having been questioned by six women for acts of “sexual harassment and assault” in a joint investigation of Mediapart et Cheek.
Edouard Baer will play in “Cyrano de Bergerac”
For his return to the theater stage, Edouard Baer will play “Cyrano” in the play Cyrano de Bergerac directed by Olivier Solivérès. “Everyone is wrong about Cyrano. Cyrano is a Rock… Friable, multiple, sensitive, whole, distraught, brilliant, faithful, abandoned by the graces and yet sparkling with heart and soul. Next to Cyrano, we are all gray, definitely gray,” writes the Antoine theater.
The piece will be back from January 28, 2025 and will be played over 50 dates. The ticket office is already open on the theater website.
He has remained silent since the revelations
When the surveys were published, the theater had taken the decision to cancel the performances of Edouard Baer and his show, But Nominations. The six women who accuse the actor described “between 2013 and 2021” situations of multiple sexual assaults which allegedly took place “mainly in professional contexts. »
The actor wrote to both media to affirm that he “did not recognize himself in words or gestures” which are attributed to him. “I can only express my regret that my behavior made these women uncomfortable or hurt. I didn't have the intelligence to perceive it. I am deeply sorry. I never intentionally tried to hurt them. I apologize to them all.”
Since then, Edouard Baer has never spoken again and has decided to wall himself in silence.
