The association “La langue de travers” offered a writing workshop on Saturday June 22 on the theme of music at La Boussole. The objective of the association, which is part of the French new education group, is to restore a taste for words and writing to everyone.

About ten participants first listened to various pieces of music and wrote with a colored felt-tip pen the words that spontaneously came to mind. In another color, they wrote down other words gleaned from collections of poems. They had fun making them sound and resonate orally, then wrote as quickly as possible to free their imagination. The texts were finalized by concentrating on rhythms, repetitions, silences and sonorities.

For the final vocalization, each person annotated their partner’s poem with musical indications: allegro, largo, etc. It was then necessary to take inspiration from a score to put, thanks to graphics, its text on paper. At the end of the workshop, the trainees formed a circle. Everyone listened to the other’s text and read their own aloud, buoyed by the confidence instilled by the group. One participant ended her poem like this: “The writing workshop, what a great adventure, the sun is stitched up, we got along well. » The association’s next writing workshop will take place on August 3 in Saulcy on the smugglers’ path.
