While the brand was placed in receivership on November 12, customers of Mister Menuiserie in Boé are worried about whether they will one day see their money again. Some denounce it as a scam.
“Today, thousands of people don’t know where their money has gone!” Laurent, a customer of Mister Menuiserie in Boé, is not upset. He denounces having “been the victim of a scam” by the company specializing in gates, windows and other supplies.
It all started in January, when he placed a large order with the brand. He buys, in total, €13,000 worth of carpentry. “After three months, I still had no news of my order, even though my check had been cashed. I returned to the store several times, but the salesman I had dealt with did not worked more.” He insists, going so far as to go to Boé twice a week so that the company “[lui] makes [son] money.” The equipment ended up arriving six months later, in poor condition.
Hundreds of people in the same situation
By going on social networks, he realizes that he is not the only one to be in this situation. On a Facebook group entitled “Scam mister carpentry support group”, hundreds of people share similar testimonies. And this throughout France. “I bought 2 gates on September 12 which were supposed to leave the factory on October 26, date pushed back and then suspended. Impossible to contact them…” we can read on a post.
On November 12, the news came out: the company, which has more than 100 points of sale and 300 employees, was placed in receivership. “It’s a shame… deplores Laurent. How can we continue to sell products to people when we know that we are bankrupt? It’s theft!”

In Lot-et-Garonne, a significant number of customers are currently waiting, without knowing if they will one day receive their order. “I paid for a gate plus a motorization for €3,000, I still haven’t had it delivered…” complains a customer. “For my part, it’s the Marmande store. I paid for a gate plus a motorization for €3,000, still not delivered,” laments another. “Gate and motorization ordered in July 2024; only the motorization was delivered in October. Very angry and upset,” grumbles another woman from Lot-et-Garonnaise.

On November 15, a spokesperson for the company, contacted, declared in our columns: “I confirm the receivership pronounced by the commercial court on November 12. We are looking for a buyer and there are already three offers. We does not know if the possible buyer will accept the debts. Offers can be submitted until 6 p.m. on November 25. He assures: “We are all fighting so that customers are reimbursed or delivered. We are looking for a solution”. As for the cause of this delicate situation, it would come from a planned operation with a major partner “who failed us”. “We don’t hide.”
