Who will qualify for the second round?

In each constituency, the two candidates who come out on top automatically qualify for the second round* of the legislative elections (Sunday July 7).

Potential candidates who obtain more than 12.5% ​​of registered voters will also advance to the second round.

*If a candidate receives more than 50% of the votes cast, he or she is elected deputy in the first round.

Four RN deputies in the Pyrénées-Orientales

As a reminder, the Pyrénées-Orientales department has four National Rally deputies, since 2022: Two years ago, the party of Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella succeeded in « grand chelem » in the Catalan Country, winning all the constituencies.

Sophie White (1re), Anaïs Sabatini (2e), Sandrine Dogor-Such (3e) et Michele Martinez (4e) are all candidates for their own succession. Will they manage to keep their seat in the Assembly? Will their opponents defy the polls? First indications this evening at 8 p.m.
