New president of theASSE, Ivan Gazidis met the groups of Saint-Etienne supporters. He presented them with the project of the Kilmer Sports Ventures group and discussed with them the question of fanism.

ASSE officially came under the Canadian flag on Monday, June 3, 2024. It was on this day that Bernard Caïazzo and his partner Roland Romeyer sold the club, of which he was the priority, to Kimer Group. The Canadian group’s big boss is Larry Tanenbaum (79 years old), a Canadian billionaire. However, the daily management of AS Saint-Etienne has been entrusted to Ivan Gazidis (59 years old), a well-known leader in the world of football.
Former sporting director of Arsenal (2008-2018), he was also executive president of AC Milan (2018-2022). Since March 2024, he has been the president of Kilmer Sports Ventures, a subsidiary of the group owned by Larry Tanenbaum.

Discussions with the Magic Fans, Green Angels, the Union of Stéphanois Supporters, the Stéphanois Independentists 98, the disabled-supporters section and the Associate Supporters were “focused on the vision of supporterism, among others”, according to the regional newspaper. In any case, the president of the Greens likes a lot on the green people to realize his project at the head of the Stéphanois club. “I am very enthusiastic to work to bring ASSE back to the top”he said.
