As part of Disability Week, the prefect of , Jérôme Bonet and Mr. Morin, deputy departmental director of the DDETS of Gard, visited the premises of the TRISOMIE 21 Gard association.
The objective of this meeting was to discuss with employers and trainees who have subscribed to the “DEFI21” system in order to understand the reciprocal benefits generated by the employment of people suffering from this pathology within the various Gard structures which welcome them. .
World of entertainment (Paloma), Catering, Hospitality, Ready-to-wear, mass distribution… The panel is extremely diverse with brands like KIABI or LIDL coming to testify to the considerable contribution that the association's interns generate for their companies, both in terms of execution of tasks and good humor distilled among employees who are sometimes less inclined to smile on Monday morning…
The particularity of this system lies in its ability to adapt to the professional career of the person whatever their status. It allows continuity of support whatever the stage of the journey.
After very rich discussions on the journeys of Ryan, Fatima, and Fanny whose involvement in carrying out their daily tasks perfectly commands admiration, the prefect recalled the importance for State services to continue to build bridges between voluntary companies and interns wishing to join them.

In 2024, the Défi 21 system received Qualiopi certification.
