In the event of damage caused by a storm or water damage for which assistance from the fire brigade is required, this number should be dialed. If a life is in danger, 112 should be called.
The FPS also recommends using the electronic counter 1722.be, considered “the most direct way to request help from firefighters in situations where no life is in danger”.
