With the arrival of summer, the Bisontine outdoor swimming pools are discovered. After Port Joint rue de Chardonnet at the end of May, the Besançon-Chalezeule aquatic complex has been welcoming the public since June 22 and until June 1is september.
In a unique setting along the Doubs, the Besançon-Chalezeule swimming pool has been delighting swimmers on sunny days since 1958. A little vintage air still floats there, which the embellishments and renovation work carried out each year do not contradict. Around the large 50m pool, the children’s pool with its water play area, the diving area and the pentaglisse, vast green spaces with trees invite you to picnic, play basketball, volleyball or ping-pong.
Organized by or with the City of Besançon, owner and manager, entertainment, initiations and events are held there throughout the summer. Thus, the free immersive village of the Sport Tour by Intersport will mark the season from July 11 to 14. Finally, the swimming pool benefits from the immediate proximity of a snack bar accessible to swimmers and a starred campsite.

A 3 star campsite
As bucolic as you want, the 2.5ha of the Besançon Chalezeule campsite stretch their lawns along the river. In the shade of the trees, 117 pitches await campers and motorhome owners. Owned by GBM, managed by the company Only Camp, the site has undergone work: the renovation of the reception building, the snack bar and its terrace with a view of the banks. Campers are each entitled to one free access per day to the swimming pool during opening hours.

Good to know
The La Fayette indoor swimming pool being exceptionally closed due to work from June 17 to August 31, the Mallarmé indoor swimming pool will be open throughout the summer from July 1 (9 a.m. to 6 p.m. 7 days a week, except Wednesdays 12 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) .
