Stabbed at a bus stop in front of the My Place shopping center in Sarcelles (Val-d'Oise), Ali, 17, was killed in the small parking lot located a few steps away on Tuesday, November 12.
Seized of the case, the investigators of interdepartmental judicial police service of Val-d'Oise (SIPJ 95), arrested the alleged murderer on Saturday November 16. Brought before a magistrate from the Pontoise public prosecutor's office, he was indicted for murder and placed in pre-trial detention
He died of his injuries at the scene.
The tragedy occurred shortly before 5 p.m. Ali was waiting at the Allée Chantepie stop when he found himself facing her attacker getting off the bus. The latter would then have carried a stab to the victim before fleeing with other individuals who accompanied him, but who did not take part in the attack
Hit between the chest and a shoulder blade, the teenager staggered for a few meters before collapsing in front of parked cars. A passerby immediately gave him first aid until help arrived. Finding himself in critical condition, Ali succumbed to his injuries on the spot despite resuscitation attempts made by the firefighters and a medical team from Samu 95. He was pronounced dead at 5:35 p.m.
Rivalry between neighborhoods
According to the first elements of the investigation, a rivalry between districts of Sarcelles could be the cause of the tragedy.
While the victim comes from the Rosiers-Chantepie-Merisiers district, his alleged murderer is said to be from the Vignes blanche district. To Le Parisien, members of the teenager's family confided that Ali had been involved in clashes with young people in this neighborhood in the past. Although he had not taken part in it for a long time, according to those close to him, he had received death threats in recent months.
