Yvann Maçon returned from his loan spell at Maccabi Tel Aviv to play a key role in AS Saint-Étienne’s rise to Ligue 1. He returned to AS Saint-Etienne in January and established himself as an important part in the race for the rise of the Greens, after two years spent in Ligue 2.

The right-back, who is also capable of playing as a left-back, has played 18 of AS Saint-Étienne’s last 19 matches in Ligue 2. His return coincides with the period of spectacular comeback by the men ofOlivier Dall’Oglio After a difficult start to the season. With Sainté’s return to Ligue 1 assured, Yvann Maçon decides to focus on his future.

Yvann Maçon wants to stay at ASSE

His performances have attracted the attention of several Ligue 1 clubs. His versatility is considered a particular asset by some clubs. However, Maçon himself has no intention of leaving ASSE this summer.

According to Foot Market, the 25-year-old wants to stay with the Greens for next season. However, he only has one year remaining on his current contract and is awaiting an extension offer.
