The return of the market to Nîmes
The Nîmes festivities program once again offers a real Christmas market. From December 20 to 23, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., on Place Mère-Teresa, in front of the Vieux Nîmes museum, designer stands (candles, jewelry, figurines, decorations) and gourmet products (mulled wine, beer, pretzel , pancakes and waffles, pâtés, brandade, etc.).
At the same time, several other initiatives are taking place. Starting this Sunday, November 24, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Nîmes Sud-Est neighborhood committee association is organizing a large Christmas market with creative artisans and local producers, in the Kaufmann municipal hall, 670 chemin du Pont -des-Îles. Parents and children can have their photo taken with Santa Claus from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The Saint-Charles parish has been meeting in Nîmes for 25 years, with a Christmas market, Saturday November 30 and Sunday December 1, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Gifts, handcrafted creations from the Clarisse sisters, flea market, exhibition of nativity scenes and concert by the Calliopé choir on Sunday at 4 p.m.
