Patrick Poitreau sentenced to life in Bastia
The verdict is in for Patrick Poitreau. The latter appeared this week before the Haute-Corse Assize Court for the rape of his 11-year-old son.
The accused, a repeat offender already sentenced in the past to ten years in prison for rapes of his two nephews in the Var, admitted the facts. He then served his sentence at the Casabianda penitentiary center. At the end of his sentence, he remained on the island.
During his trial in Bastia, Patrick Poitreau also admitted, more generally, “to having sexual attractions for children”.
The sentence was therefore handed down and the accused was sentenced to life imprisonment with a security sentence of 18 years.
