A rich and varied entertainment program for the magic of Christmas in Dax

From Saturday November 30, 2024 to Sunday January 5, 2025, the municipality of Daxin partnership with the Intercommunal Tourist Office and the Daxatou merchants' association, offers a great program of events with new features. Young and old will be able toamaze.

A beautiful opening ceremony

The opening ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. on Saturday, December 14 on the Yves Goussebaire-Dupin esplanade. An acrobatics and pyrotechnics show “Celestial Clocks” and fireworks will light up the evening.

Many activities will punctuate these end-of-year celebrations. The children's village will set up shop at Square Max Moras, from December 21 to 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., with inflatable structures, the small Pouillon farm, a sweet stand and pony rides.

Many other events will take place during the end of the year in Dax such as the Kapla fun workshop, the Children's Boom, the Disney character mascot ride, the Christmas shows at the Atrium theater. You can find all the details of the activities on the city of Dax website.

Ice rink

A 200 m2 ice rink and a funfair are set up on the Charles de Gaulle esplanade, from December 7 to January 5, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. during school holidays and weekends, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. during the week. The facilities will be closed on December 25 and January 1.
