A person is in serious condition following a traffic accident on Route 117, between Malartic and Rivière-Héva.

He added that several people were involved in the accident, and one of them was even feared for his life.

Emergency services are on scene while the road is closed indefinitely for the purposes of the investigation. A detour is possible via Chemin du Lac-Malartic.
