After the contract extension of British center Jubrile Belo and the transfer of young point guard Mathéo Leray, previously loaned by Cholet, Rupella is now looking for his starting five to play his first season in Betclic Elite. The first stone of the La Rochelle building is called Sam Sessoms. Aged 24, the American point guard arrives from Romania, where he played in the first division. First under the colors of SCMU Craiova, then Kosovare (Vëllaznimi Gjakove) where Sessoms finished the season with an average of 19.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 5.2 assists for 18 evaluation in 18 matches.
Having passed through the NCAA, with the universities of Binghamton Bearcats, Penn State Nittany Lions and Coppin State Eagles, the US point guard impressed for his last year of college with an average of 20.5 points.
