The race called La Sans Raison will take place Sunday November 24, 2024in Vélizy-Villacoublay (Yvelines).
For this 12e editionseveral departures will be given from the Robert-Wagner stadium. At 8:30 a.m., “La Balèze”, a 30 km course, then at 9:30 a.m. “La Thérèse” and its 19 km and finally, “La Laise” at 10 a.m. for 11 km. The funds raised are donated to the Laurette Fugain Association, which fights against leukemia.
Tenth participation
Among the runners, Bedross Baronian, a good reason for having registered: to surpass yourself. “I'm going to be 80 years old. I participated in my first La Sans Raison race in 2013. If I finish this one, it will symbolize my tenth participation, because in 2015, the event did not take place with the attacks, nor in 2020 with the Covid . I never got injured,” he explains, proudly displaying all his medals won.
This race was created by the ASC Vélizy football club. “I know its founder since Pierre Pijoulat is a friend of mine with whom I played football,” says this sports enthusiast. “It was 45 years ago,” emphasizes Bedross Baronian, alias “Beubeu. I am the oldest veteran and the club.”

Bedross Baronian hopes to reach this tenth medal, and is preparing to perform the 11 km course. “I train at the Cour Roland in Vélizy-Villacoublay, I run. I am coached by two friends. »
“Even if it is difficult, I will go through with it. In tough times, I think about what my son once said to me: “You're not the last dad, there are worse people than you.” This sentence gave me courage, balm in my heart and I continued. »
His objective is clear: to finish this race, and win his tenth medal, symbol of a realization for him.
