Nancy: artistic crafts in the spotlight at the Nursery

More than sixty exhibitors, all professionals, will present their new products and know-how this weekend at the Parc de la Pépinière in Nancy. More than ten professions will be highlighted, with creations on different types of supports such as textiles, wood, glass, earth, metal. The public will be able to discover jewelry, clothing and fashion accessories, furniture, decoration for the home or garden, musical instruments, pottery, etc.

Three days of clearance at Shepherdess of France

Like every year at this time, the Bergère de France company, whose factory is located in Bar-le-Duc, is organizing its annual clearance sale. Lots of balls of wool, cones of wool are offered for sale at factory prices. An African music festival in Nancy

The 17the edition of the North and West African music festival will take place over two days. Saturday June 29, at 4 p.m., opening of the artisans’ market and from 7:30 p.m., series of concerts and dances/percussions with the trio Bia Bia, Sako Wana, Afro Bamana blues, and afro ball with DJ Mous l’Ambianceur and DJ Akafoye Group. Sunday June 30, at 5 p.m., carte blanche to all the musicians and dancers of the festival; followed at 6 p.m. by the closing concert with Dakka and So Gnawa.

Visits and train rides to Fort Uxegney

The visiting season resumed in May at Fort Uxegney (Vosges) and the volunteers of Arfupe (association for the restoration of Fort Uxegney and Place d’Épinal) are offering this Sunday, June 30, two guided tours in the fort and four trips on the fort train. It will be possible to visit the fortified structure with a guide at 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. and discover the fort’s facilities. In parallel with these visits, the fort train will make four rotations with departures at 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. in front of the fort. Please note that the fort will be open every afternoon in July and August and that the train will run during certain weekends.

The “Cursed Festival!” » settles in Nancy

The first edition of the “Maudit Festival!” » , organized by Cie Les Bonnasses, will highlight all artistic identities, individualities and communities.
For three days, the program will offer theater, circus, dance, music and a drag show. The festivities will kick off on Friday, June 28, at 6 p.m., with the Mova Bunda fanfare band (photo), then theater and improvisation, ending with a DJ set with Santa Lucia and Neveu Lucide starting at 10:45 p.m. The party will continue on Saturday, June 29, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, June 30, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., at the MJC des 3-Maisons, 12, rue de Fontenoy in Nancy. Admission for the day is free and charitable. DJ entertainment on Friday and Saturday: €4 per evening.

31e edition of the Saint-Paul Festival in Sarreguemines

Organized by the City of Sarreguemines, the 31e edition of the Saint-Paul Street Arts Festival will be inaugurated this Friday at 6:15 p.m. from city hall. The opening of Saint-Paul’s Day will take place with fanfare, accompanied by the municipal band which will stroll through the streets to the Market Square for an inaugural speech. The activities will last until Sunday evening.

“From Flames to Light”: an unmissable event

If you missed the premiere of “From Flames to Light”, the biggest show in Europe over 14-18, there are still ten dates left: June 28 and 29 and June 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20 , July 26, 27, 2024. The show is held at the Haudainville quarries. Doors open at 8 p.m., the show begins at nightfall but it is advisable to arrive by 10 p.m. (doors close at 10:15 p.m.).

Medieval festival: Rodemack goes back in time

15,000 spectators over the weekend. Continuous entertainment thanks to 35 troupes, companies and artisans. A fire show on Saturday evening at 10:30 p.m., along the ramparts. And to complete the potion, a medieval market bringing together no fewer than 80 exhibitors over the two days of festivities, as well as a large costume parade with more than 600 participants on Sunday. Rodemack goes back through the corridors of time, with the Middle Ages as its destination, on June 29 and 30.

The old mechanics return to Labry

This is the 9e edition of the Festival des Vieilles Mécaniques, a gathering of collector’s vehicles over 30 years old or exceptional, organized by the Vieilles Anglaises association. Automobiles, motorcycles, military vehicles will take place on the Tour Mahuet site, in Labry, on Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Activities and a concert will be offered at the same time.
