Levallois: a cyclist evacuated in absolute emergency after an impact with a car

The impact was violent enough that he ended up on the windshield of the car. This Thursday, shortly before 10 p.m. in Levallois, a cyclist was violently hit by a vehicle in the middle of an intersection. The accident happened precisely at the corner of Victor Hugo and Aristide Briand streets. The man on the bike suffered from severe head trauma and was taken urgently by the Samu to Beaujon hospital in Clichy.

According to the first elements of the investigation, it seems that the cyclist who was not wearing a helmet went through the red light while the vehicle was crossing the intersection with the green light. The investigation must confirm the exact circumstances of the accident.

At the same time, another accident occurred a few kilometers away. In Asnières-sur-Seine, a jogger was knocked down by a car on Quai du Docteur Derveaux. According to initial information gathered on the scene, the forty-year-old who was doing her sport crossed the road when the pedestrian light had just turned red. The car had just started at the green light. When the driver hit the jogger, she was thrown onto the safety railings and her head hit the road. She was suffering from a bleeding wound and head trauma when she was rushed to Beaujon Hospital in Clichy.
