On the occasion of the July 14 and National Day celebrations, the city of Créteil, in Val-de-Marne, is organizing its traditional firefighters’ ball on Saturday, July 13, 2024.
Like a festive air Creteil… As part of the festivities July 14ththe city of Créteilin Val-de-Marne, is organizing its now famous firefighters’ ball, this Saturday July 13, 2024celebrating as it should be and as every year, the National HolidayFrom 9 p.m., music and dance lovers meet at the Créteil emergency centerlocated on rue de l’Orme Saint-Siméon, to shake your hips until the early hours!
On the program for this festive and popular evening in Créteil:
- Firefighters’ Ball: from 9 p.m.
- DJ and dancers
- Karaoke entertainment
- Food stands
The firefighters balla true tradition of National Holidayoriginated in 1937, in Montmartre. It was on the return from the military parade that the firefighters of the Butte invited passers-by who were following them to come and visit their barracks, after having obtained permission from their superior. An undeniable success, which contaminated the other barracks of the capital, then of the whole country. But before becoming the firefighters ball As we know, the event offered sports activities and other physical exercises, until the day when visitors started dancing and drinking.
Today, we drink (in moderation) and we still dance. And regarding the Créteil balllike many other firefighter balls, this one is free, but a “tonneau” is made available so that you can donate a little something to help them maintain the barracks… or other expenses.
