Pedestrians on the Brussels inner ring road

Attention: pedestrians are reported on the inner ring road of Brussels at the height of Grand-Bigard (direction Zaventem). On this inner ring road, 15 minutes to slow down between Wezembeek-Oppem and Tervuren towards Waterloo.

Still 45 minutes of queues at the end of the E429 Tournai-Brussels and 30 minutes of queues in the south of the country on the E411 Namur-Luxembourg between Arlon and Sterpenich.

In the other direction, 10 minutes of queues in the works from Daussoulx towards Brussels.

Finally, remind you on this E411 in the Namur-Brussels direction of the closure of exit 6 WAVRE throughout this weekend from this Friday 10 a.m.

This could cause problems for access to the famous amusement park located nearby this weekend.

If you are coming from Namur, you will need to take a diversion set up via the following exit 5 BIERGES.

Two accidents reported

2 accidents to report to you:

–> On the E411 Namur-Luxembourg at the height of Autelbas in the left lane towards Luxembourg. You slow down for 15 minutes between Arlon and Sterpenich.

–> On the E429 Tournai-Brussels near the Chaussée de Mons towards the Brussels ring road. Still 45 minutes lost from Tubize.

08h09

Long lines on the E429

We were just telling you about long queues on the E429 Tournai-Brussels approaching the Brussels ring road. They are due to an accident near the Chaussée de Mons. So you slow down for 45 minutes from Tubize to the ring road.

Queues are almost non-existent around Brussels with fluid traffic on the E40 coming from Liège or Ghent, on the E19 Antwerp-Brussels or even entering the outer ring between Waterloo and Carrefour Léonard.

Only slight braking on the E411 Namur-Brussels before the Carrefour Léonard and a little less than 10 minutes in the construction zone starting at Daussoulx.

7 short minutes of queues (very little) on the inner ring between Strombeek-Bever and Machelen then 15 minutes between Wezembeek-Oppem and Tervuren towards Waterloo.

It should be remembered that this Friday is the day of the European summit in Brussels with a security perimeter around the Schuman Roundabout and the closure of the Reyers Tunnel towards the centre.

07h34

Be careful if you are traveling on the E19 near Nivelles-Sud

Be careful if you are traveling on the E19 Mons-Brussels near Nivelles-Sud in the direction of Brussels. A tire was reported on the roadway on the exit ramp.

On the E429 Tournai-Brussels, however, there are reports of 30 minutes of slowdowns over 4 km from Tubize towards the Brussels ring road. The reason for these unusual long lines is not yet known…

We also remind you that from Monday until July 12, not far from there, a rehabilitation project of the ring road surface will be undertaken between the Flemish region and the Haut-Ittre interchange. Two lanes will be maintained in each direction but the speed will be limited to 70 km/h. If you are driving towards Mons, you will also be switched to the wrong direction.

The lines are quite light on the inner ring between Strombeek-Bever and Machelen (+7 min) and before Tervuren (+10 min) towards Waterloo.

07h10

Restricted lines in the inner ring

The queues are quite small this Friday morning and located as every day on the inner ring road: you slow down for 7 minutes between Strombeek-Bever and Machelen towards Zaventem then 10 minutes between Wezembeek-Oppem and Tervuren towards Waterloo.

5 minutes also in the work zone of the E411 towards Brussels between the Aire d’Ostin and Aische-en-Refail.

Please note: on this E411 in the Namur-Brussels direction, we are reporting the closure of exit 6 WAVRE throughout this weekend starting this Friday at 10 a.m.

This may pose some problems given the famous amusement park not far away.

If you come from Namur, you will have to take a diversion set up via the following exit 5 BIERGES.

Still on this E411, we recall this truck broken down near Champion in the direction of Brussels.

06h32

Truck breaks down on the E411

A truck has broken down on the E411 Luxembourg-Namur near Champion in the direction of Brussels. Caution.

In terms of queues around the Capital, you slow down for 5 minutes between Grimbergen and Machelen towards Zaventem then already 10 minutes between Wezembeek-Oppem and Tervuren towards Waterloo.

06h02

Already slowdowns on the inner ring

Traffic is fairly fluid this Friday morning except already on the inner ring road of Brussels where you slow down for 7 minutes from Wezembeek-Oppem to Tervuren towards the Carrefour Léonard and Waterloo.

Situation which should become even more complicated from this Monday, July 1 with a new phase in the work on the Leonardo Tunnel. Traffic towards Waterloo will be diverted above ground with the closure of the Inner Ring Tunnel. In the other direction, it will be impossible when coming from Waterloo to turn left towards Auderghem.
