Polling stations will be open until 8 p.m. on Sunday.

It is possible to check the address of your polling station on the City’s website via www.strasbourg.eu/rechercher-bureau-vote. To vote, voters must have a valid identity document (mandatory) and their electoral card (optional).

Concerning the terms of registration on the electoral list, you must be registered on the electoral list to vote in the next legislative elections. On June 9, the head of state announced the dissolution of the National Assembly. Registrations have been closed since June 9 at midnight. People who registered after this date will not be able to vote, with the exception of young first-time voters born before June 30.

A new voter card has been sent to all those who have declared a change of situation to the Elections Department of the City of Strasbourg. All voters whose polling station has changed address have also received a new voter card by post.

Looking for volunteers for the count

As a reminder regarding proxies: people who are absent on the day of the vote can instruct another voter to vote in their place at their polling station by means of a proxy. This can be done up until the day of the vote and must be done at the police station or gendarmerie, or at the judicial court. However, it is advisable to complete this administrative procedure as soon as possible, to be sure that the proxy is received at the town hall on time.

Finally, citizens can participate in the counting as soon as the polls close. To do this, they have until 7 p.m. to inform the president of their polling station of their desire to be a scrutineer. The City of Strasbourg strongly encourages all available citizens to get involved in this civic process to contribute to the proper functioning of democracy.

All practical information for voting on June 30 and July 7 is available at www.strasbourg.eu/elections
