The 52nd edition of Fema will be held from June 28 to July 7, 2024 between the cinemas of Le Dragon, cours des Dames, and the cinemas of La Coursive, rue Saint-Jean-du Pérot, in La Rochelle. La Sirène will also host a film concert and Irène Dresel’s electro concert on Saturday July 29. .

Where do you buy tickets?

At the La Coursive box office, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., and at the Dragon box office, at 8:30 a.m. and forty-five minutes before each session. Collection of countermarks at the festival Info Point on the right of the CGR Dragon, at the foot of the statue of Admiral Duperré.

What is the Préau?

Located in the courtyard of the Dor school, at 24, rue Saint-Jean du-Pérot, it is a space reserved for festival-goers with an unlimited card or accreditation. We meet there to take a break and have a refreshment. From 7 p.m. to 2 a.m., guinguette open to all.

Are there sessions for people with disabilities?

Yes, several works are accessible to everyone. There are “relax” sessions designed for people suffering from behavioral disorders or autism, audio description screenings for visually impaired and blind people, screenings for deaf and hard of hearing people, and finally live sessions. VAST (original audio version with subtitles) thanks to the Tout en parole association which provides access to foreign films in the original version.

Where is the festival information point?

Volunteers take turns every day from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Place Barentin, opposite the Grosse Horloge (Cours des Dames).

What are the tributes?

This year, FEMA pays tribute to French actress Françoise Fabian (8 films), Kyrgyzstani filmmaker Aktan Arym Kubat (6 films), Austrian filmmaker Michael Haneke (17 films) and Argentinian filmmaker Benjamin Naishtat (4 films).

What are the retros?
