Saint-Paul-sur-Save. Flor Festival: an event in celebration and in flames

On Saturday June 22, Saint-Paul no longer rested on its Save but on flames, as the Flor festival created a warm and explosive atmosphere.

This event was launched by a musicology student from the village, Thomas Nebout, accompanied by a classmate (Louna) with the support of Claude Mallet, deputy responsible for culture at the town hall.

It is a rich team of all ages and from various backgrounds who put it all together, with the common goal of celebrating music.

The event could not have taken place without the help of Rachel Mkaad-Ras, Yoann Pères from the town hall and the festival committee, always present with their good humor, but also without the great help of Fred Henriette who provided the technical part of the open stage and the lighting of the main stage.

Brigitte de Horty d’ko, the village florist, also contributed by lending some of her beautiful flowers.

There was also the contribution of Jennifer Nebout who brought a bit of the Pink City to the village by inviting artists from the Fractal studio and the Bedroom association, Mateo Souclier, sound engineer and Cloé Rabourdin, scenographer.

The weather was gloomy but that didn’t stop festival-goers from creating unforgettable memories.

Never before seen in Saint-Paul, on the program: psychedelic rhythms (Tablas discount) and cheerful choir (Le Cri du Chœur) in the church followed by the gentle guitar/voice of Margal, Houdya and her powerful message, the sequence of Kadezo, Jennufar, AssBeeN, Pox, Sencio and Peraps who returned the stage before the final bouquet of Dj Nika and his techno set.

This entire team put their heart into the work to make the village flourish for an evening rich in emotions and discoveries; a promising first edition to follow closely.
