Every year it's the same story. From the month of November, the streets of Paris light up and Parisians rush to the four corners of the capital looking for the perfect Christmas gift. Parents, grandparents, children, brothers, sisters, friends… list grows while the mountain of gifts keeps growing. And all that is nice – and even magical – but as the smiles on the faces of your loved ones pile up, so does the waste on our planet.
So to limit the impact of the end-of-year celebrations on our dear Earth, the MAIF Social Club offers you a range of responsible gift ideas for young and old. The appointment is given in their concept store – on site or online –, and especially at the Christmas Market which takes place on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 December next ones. The opportunity to discover eco-responsible brands who throw them away, to meet committed creators and enjoy an owl cultural and gourmet programming.
A Christmas in the skin at the MAIF Social Club
For this new 2024 edition, the MAIF Social Club Christmas Market is part of the body theme in resonance with the cultural programming and in particular contemporary art exhibition Let's become one which occupies the premises until January 4. To do this, the MAIF Social Club called on Lea Roussy – at the head of Atelier LR – who imagined the scenography with responsible and second-hand materials in pink, silver and glittery colors.

A party decor for chef shopping. Ready to stock up on inspiration for Christmas? A gaggle of stands await you with products of all kinds, such as tea flowers as beautiful as they are delicious from LA.BR; the good ones Norman ciders from Maison Sassy; THE matched japonais de Kumiko ; les artisanal hot saucesSauce françaises Sauce ; the products of makeup and treatments made in France from Pomponne; the beautiful ones illustrations of Marie Boiseau and Victoria Dorche; or even the board games made in France by Bakakou. In short, everything you need to make original, useful and lasting gifts. The little extra? The market will even offer a stand by furoshiki to wrap your pretty fabric finds, using the traditional Japanese technique.
A great cultural and culinary program
During these two days, the MAIF Social Club has some great responsible shopping sessions in store for us, but also an artistic, friendly and gourmet program. The opportunity to (re)see the exhibition Let's become one and the works of 14 artists who tell us about the body in all its forms, but also to admire the incredible voguing performances by choreographer and dancer Melvin Hans.

Sweet tooths will not be left out, since homemade pastries prepared by SAIN Boulangerie can be found at the café, the news of which creations with winter flavors ultra comforting with Christmas cookies, log slices, gingerbread and cinnamon rolls. Enough to immerse you in the end-of-year holiday atmosphere and recharge your batteries before your shopping!

Dates to mark in red on your calendar. But for those who won't be able to go there, don't panic, the good ideas will still come to you. And for good reason: the MAIF Social Club online concept store unveils – like every year – its selection of gift ideas for Christmas, with creations of young committed entrepreneurs which revolutionize our consumption patterns and carry out real social projects.
