Two rooms, two atmospheres. In the Doubs, in the 3e constituency, Matthieu Bloch will be a Les Républicains candidate supported by the National Rally, as part of the agreement signed by party president Éric Ciotti, contested by executives. In Doubs, the LR elected representatives of the majority in the departmental council opposed the directive. Matthieu Bloch, boss of the LR du Doubs follows her. And Marie-Noëlle Biguinet did not take a public position, which her left-wing opposition in the municipal council accuses her of (read our article), believing that if she says nothing, she consents. In the Territory of Belfort, the LR said no to any rapprochement with the RN, just as with the presidential majority (read our article). Ian Boucard, the outgoing MP for 1re constituency (South) returns to the campaign, supported by Damien Meslot as substitute. In the 2ndewhere there is no longer an agreement with the UDI, Didier Vallverdu can run for the LR, even if he should not have had the nomination, as the party had committed to doing locally, after his dissent in 2022 (read our article). He is supported by Florian Bouquet, as substitute; he is the president of the departmental council. The party is caught between a very dynamic far right and a united left. But the party relies on a network and detailed knowledge of constituencies to further thwart the predictions. In the 4e Doubs constituency, the LR is not sending anyone against Géraldine Grangier, which may favor the candidacy of Philippe Gauthier, the Horizons mayor of Valentigney. It is a deputy mayor of Luxeuil-les-Bains, Loïc Labori, who wears the LR colors in the 2nde Haute-Saône constituency.
