The Paris 2024 megastore has just opened its doors on the Champs-Elysées in Paris. “It is our main official store with its 1000m², its thousand references and its central location“, exposed Tony Estanguet, president of Paris 2024 during the inauguration. A store, indeed, designed to (dis)measure the event: the organizing committee of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games is waiting there up to 10,000 visitors per day during the competition! Inside, a vast space offers visitors a thousand textile references and related products dedicated to the JOP Paris 2024.In total, there are some 100,000 products on display in the 1000m² store. Including the reserves and living spaces, the whole represents 1600m²“, continues Edouard Bardon, specifying that restocking will be carried out daily, at night.
Operated by Legends, who previously managed the giant official store for the 2023 Rugby World Cup, the store employs 250 people, “in order to cover the large amplitude of the store, open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., 7 days a week. At the same time, some 60 employees will be constantly present at the point of sale“, explains Edouard Bardon. This is necessary to support the many visitors in their shopping. The store, the twelfth official store opened out of the 150 planned by the end of July, will be accessible until September 15.

Mass effect on the shelves with these high walls lining up rows of T-Shirts. The stock is present below, separated by a middle shelf of Phryges soft toys, the mascots of the JOP Paris 2024, or assorted hats. Textiles represent 60% of the offering on display.

The less sporty can always fall for the perfect supporter’s kit! Special mention for the originality of certain creations, like this funny diversion of the Mona Lisa in Phryge.
After the bad spring weather, the organizers are clearly expecting a very sunny summer as evidenced by the profusion of hats (Panama hats, caps, Phrygian bonnets, reversible bucket hats and even berets) on offer.
In this store, you can dress from head to toe, with a great selection of plastic clogs and flip-flops.
The plush toy is the queen of the derivative products present in the shop – it is also to this day the best-selling derivative product. In addition to the Phryges, we find the mascot plush toys of the French Olympic team, that of Allez les Bleus or even very cute teddy bears.
Also targeting family customers, the store offers a wide range dedicated to children. “These products represent around a third of the offer“, calculates Edouard Bardon. We thus find clothes but also backpacks, water bottles, Lunii storytellers, cuddly toys for toddlers and even figurines.
Paris obliges, the Eiffel Tower is also well represented in the range of derivative products.
The shop also offers some 300 references exclusive to the official shops present on the JOP sites, such as this Phryge mascot made by Gipsy and adorned for the occasion with a tricolour scarf and glasses. These products are identifiable thanks to their black label.
The products offered in the store range from €5 for key rings, pens or notebooks to €800 for giant plush mascots (1.50m) made in France by Doudou et Compagnie.
At the end of the store, the checkout area has no less than 26 checkouts. Please note, for payments by bank card or smartphone, only those made via Visa are accepted. A cash machine is present in the store to allow other customers to withdraw cash. A stand will also soon be open, allowing them to purchase Visa prepaid cards.
