The agricultural world of Nièvre is waking up today. While other actions were carried out across Burgundy, including a fiery SOS in Dijon, the farmers of Nièvre chose Wednesday, November 20 to mobilize.
From 8 a.m. this morning between 14 and 15 of the 16 cantons of the department set out to station themselves in different strategic locations. Here is the map of the actions carried out with the exact coordinates of the blockages:
On Instagram, the Young Farmers (JA) of Nièvre list the different places concerned and provide precise information.
Simon Gauche, the president of JA 58, adds that a gathering is planned “before La Détorbe” near Chateau-Chinon at 10 a.m. “What we are mainly aiming for in the rest of the department is to slow down traffic at transit points and in particular transport trucks”he confides while he is on his way to join the mobilization.
In Côte-d'Or, the mobilizations began on Monday. At the national level the movement continues.
