Disturbing disappearance: what happened to Diogo, 18, missing since Friday evening in Grasse?

The last image of his brother is a video that he posted himself with his cell phone. We see him sitting, smoking, on a train seat marked Marseille 13,000.

But since last Friday evening, Daniela Silva Correia has had no news from Diogo. And in Grasse, the whole family (his mother and his other sister) is very worried.

“My brother would never have left for several days like that, without sending us a message, especially for my mother, confides her eldest, aged 20, with a heavy heart. VFriday evening, he asked my mother for ten euros to go out to eat in Cannes. He left with his backpack, his phone and his ventolin because he’s asthmatic, that’s all.”

Friends of the boy reported that in reality he had gone to Marseille. A mysterious meeting awaited him, regarding a car that he had to recover.

Calls go to voicemail…

For what purposes? From whom? So many questions that torment Daniela and her family. “If he really went to Marseille, that doesn’t reassure us at all. We even fear an ambush…”, points out the young girl, who fears bad company for this boy already known to the law for some little stupidities. She herself received a ransom request, but this call turned out to be a false lead, launched by a malicious spirit who wanted to take advantage of the situation.

Diogo’s family went to the Grasse police station on Monday morning, and an investigation is underway into a worrying disappearance. Without any hypothesis (runaway, kidnapping, etc.) being ruled out a priori.

In the meantime, anxiety is mounting because calls to Diogo’s phone go directly to an automatic voicemail.

Anyone able to provide information on Diogo Silva Correia can contact his sister Daniela on 06 66 18 69 01 or the Grasse police station on 04 93 40 91 91
